Nissan Futures displays sustainable mobility innovations.

Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. is hosting Nissan Futures, an event that demonstrates the company's commitment to sustainable mobility and innovative design, at its Global Headquarters Gallery in Japan from Feb. 4 to Mar. 1. To kick off the event, Nissan unveiled a physical model of its Max-Out EV convertible, which was previously shown virtually as part of the Nissan Ambition 2030 vision announced in November 2021. Throughout the event, Nissan Futures will showcase its advancements in electrification, vehicle intelligence, power management, and vehicle battery reuse through interactive customer events, expert panel discussions, and various displays. Both in-person and virtual attendance options will be available for the events and panel discussions

Information about the event's displays and content is accessible on the Nissan global corporate website, and will also be featured on the company's YouTube and LinkedIn channels. Admission to the Nissan Global Headquarters Gallery and attendance at any of the scheduled events, either in-person or virtually, will be free of charge.

The Nissan Max-Out two-seater convertible was created with the core idea of integrating the driver with the vehicle, providing a feeling of freedom while delivering an improved and energetic driving experience. The Max-Out showcases Nissan's ingenuity in designing a wide range of advanced and eye-catching automobiles that aim to benefit both individuals and society.

Two panel discussions will be held on February 21st, featuring experts from Nissan and its partners, enabling guests to comprehend the company's ten-year efforts in Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) and battery reuse. The discussions will investigate how Nissan, in collaboration with its partners, has been leading the industry in preparing for the challenges and opportunities of the imminent shift to electric mobility.

Nissan seeks input from stakeholders with diverse perspectives on sustainability, economy, innovation, and culture. Through "Talk 4 Futures," Nissan holds open dialogues with influential people, including experts and Gen Z consumers, every Saturday at 13:30 (JST) at its Global Headquarters Gallery. Public events like Nissan Futures provide opportunities for two-way communication, helping the company better understand individual and societal needs and work towards a cleaner, safer, and more inclusive world.
