The Nissan Qashqai has been crowned the UK's most reliable car in a survey of 50,000 consumers, conducted by the respected consumer affairs organization, Which?. With a rare five-star reliability rating, the Qashqai, designed, engineered, and built in Britain, impressed expert testers with its practicality, dependability, and family appeal.

Which? stated, "Nissan's efforts with the all-new version have seen it crowned our most reliable car for 2023 – a fantastic achievement for what is one of the more affordable cars in the sector." The organization added that the data showed 2023 is set to be the year of the Qashqai, as no other car of a similar age in the survey was reliable enough to receive a five-star rating.

David Moss, Senior Vice President of Research & Development at Nissan Technical Centre in Cranfield, where the new model was developed, expressed his delight that both real-world customers and expert reviewers have recognized the quality and durability of the new Qashqai. The cars undergo a series of gruelling tests, including simulating three years of driving in just five weeks, extreme heat and cold weather testing, and testing for damage from a lifetime of door slamming.
