This Friday, 27th November, is ‘Black Friday’ at the Greenhous dealerships in Shrewsbury, Telford, Newtown and Welshpool. All are preparing special deals for customers on what is nationally the busiest sales day of the year.
The first Frost Fayre at the Greenhous West Mid Showground went ahead last weekend despite the inclement weather. There were many stalls decked with all sorts of merchandise reflecting a great deal of artistic talent as well and lots of locally sourced food produce.
Staff from across the Greenhous Group departments and dealerships have been actively participating in this year’s fund-raising for Children in Need. ‘Pudsey fever’ has struck across Greenhousland with a whole host of weird costumes, sports outfits (some more bizarre than others!), raffles for hampers and even a ‘guess the number of toffees in a jar?’ competition. Though hopefully no sticky fingers have been in and reduced the number during the day!
Greenhous Renault have been out once again displaying some of their commercial vehicles at the busy Shrewsbury home of Buildbase, the suppliers of roofing and building materials. Buildbase are to be found on the Longden Road near Meole Brace.
Investment in training is an essential component of the business strategy at the Greenhous Group and this has resulted in rich rewards for several members of staff working for the Greenhous DAF dealerships in Shrewsbury and Willenhall at the DAF Apprentice of the Year Awards. The Greenhous DAF results were outstanding with Tom Hill being selected as the Year 1 Apprentice of the Year. This is a tremendous achievement for Tom and the Greenhous DAF staff are rightfully proud of his success.
