In Rob Lackie’s case it is to have his head shaved in a sponsored event at the Greenhous Renault dealership in Telford where he is the sales manager. Rob will be baring his bald head on Monday, 15th August as his ‘salt and pepper’ locks will be consigned to the waste bin and in the process raise a sizeable sum of money for Macmillan Cancer Care as part of the ‘Brave the Shave’ challenge.     At a young age Adam Bartlett decided he wanted to work with vehicles and on leaving school he tried to sign up for a motor vehicle course at Walford College. Unfortunately for him the course was full and so he attended a course which led him to train to be a tree surgeon. After 8 and a half years of felling, pruning and general tree surgery around the country, Adam left to enrol onto the motor vehicle course at Walford College as a mature student.

    Russell Higgs is a business development manager at Greenhous VW in Bilston and he took part in the British Gas Great North 2 mile swim on Lake Windermere to help raise money to have an AED ( Defibrillator) installed in the Tettenhall area of Wolverhampton. However, Russell’s fund-raising and that of friends and relatives of his close friend Alex, who died from the Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS) was so successful they raised enough to be able to install two of these life-saving devices in the area.

    As an established senior fell runner taking part in competitions and training all over the country, Mel Price needs some creature comforts whilst on the road. It is for this reason that Mel and husband, Jon, from Church Stretton, have decided to buy a bespoke VW Camper Van from specialist firm Rolling Homes of Shrewsbury. The base VW transporter vehicle comes from Greenhous Van Centre in Shrewsbury before conversion into a high specification mobile accommodation by Rolling Homes.

    Filtermist International Ltd were established in Bridgnorth, Shropshire in 1969. Recently the company moved into a new, purpose built, state of the art factory on the Telford 54 Business Park. The company produces oil mist collection units and fume and dust extraction equipment for industry, ensuring a clean environment for employees to work in, especially where machine tools are working with materials, including metals and lubricants, producing contaminated air.

Tony Mellish is very experienced in the automotive arena having spent an earlier career path as a transport recruitment manager before spending six years working as a commercial sales executive for another Ford dealer. He developed his expertise working with the fleet market.
