Supporting our local communities is a priority for Greenhous, the large independent automotive dealer based in Shropshire. However, sometimes that wish to support those less fortunate than ourselves stretches to overseas aid. In a link with the Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service’s charity, Operation Sabre, Greenhous provided a donation which was used to purchase some rescue equipment that is used to extract people from vehicles involved in road traffic accidents.
In what has become a traditional football fixture between the staff of Greenhous and Salop Leisure, the beneficiaries were the pupils of Severndale School as monies were raised through a raffle and small entrance fee for the supporters. In the region of £500 is expected to be raised to go towards specialised playground equipment through the Friends of Severndale.
