The annual Layla Jane Pitt Remembrance Trust cycle ride has attracted another big entry of riders willing to test their strength and stamina on the 125 mile cycle ride from Greenhous Vauxhall in Trench Lock, Telford to the Cardigan View Holiday Park at Black Rock Sands, Porthmadog on the Welsh coast. This year the first female participant, Jacqui Seaton will be joining the group which comprises mostly Greenhous colleagues and friends of team leader, Tristan Pitt, Layla’s father.
For Chris Crowther, a 13 year career in the parts industry started in Craven Arms working in a warehouse for a parts factor. This has ultimately led to his latest position as Parts Sales Representative for Greenhous Commercials in Shrewsbury. His father’s side of the family ran a haulage company for 30 years and so trucks seem to be in his blood!
For those who do not know of the sport called Drifting, it is a high octane motorsport where the drivers try to navigate a course at speed, whilst sliding the car sideways through various sections to gain style points. Gareth Taylor, who is an HGV technician at Greenhous DAF in Willenhall, is also a professional drifter.
