The team from Greenhous DAF Commercials had a busy weekend at the Trucking Live Show at the Oswestry Showground over the weekend of the 23rd/24th September. They had lots of visitors to their stand from customers and people wanting to talk about the latest DAF XF and CF models. Also to marvel at the two vintage DAF trucks on display, a DAF 2800 belonging to Powys Transport Ltd and a Leyland DAF 95 400 ATI.
Taking on the apprenticeship route has certainly paid dividends for Scott Brown at Greenhous DAF Commercials in Shrewsbury. Scott who lives in Minsterley started his apprenticeship in the Parts Department around 10 months ago. He has been recognised for his hard work and dedication with a full time post as Warehouseman at the Shrewsbury site.
Staff at the Greenhous Fleet Services at Festival Park in Stoke on Trent have been getting all colourful in support of the Annual Douglas Macmillan Hospice Bring a Pound Day. By bringing in a pound and wearing something colourful the staff have entered into the spirit of fund raising and every pound helps support the work of the hospice. This fund-raising idea has generated in the area more than £272,000 for the charity since it was first staged in 2010.
Greenhous Commercials are delighted to have delivered the first new DAF XF tractor unit to Station Couriers UK Ltd, a pallet and parcel distribution specialist of Newtown, Powys. The cab looks stunning in its Jamaican Blue and silver livery and it is sure to turn a few heads now it is out on the road delivering goods.
