MHF UK Ltd are specialists in the sale and hire of waste management trucks, skips and containers. Founded by Martin Fernihough in the 1970’s, and now run by his son Guy, MHF have an excellent reputation across the UK. They are specialists in the field of ground demountable Hook and Cable systems and will engineer bespoke systems for their customers or they can select from a range of hire vehicles.

Greenhous Commercials have recently supplied MHF with two trucks and a Ford Ranger to add to MHF’s already impressive fleet of vehicles.  Stuart Gaunt, Truck Sales Executive for Greenhous DAF explains the link saying: “I have dealt with Martin and Guy for some years now and they are a lovely family run business, and always a pleasure to deal with.

“We supplied them with a 12 Tonne FA LF 180 day cab at the end of March.  More recently MHF received an 18 Tonne FA LF 260 chassis cab down at their site at Inkberrow in Worcestershire, which is being fitted with a purpose built Hook and Cable system.”

On behalf of MHF, Guy replied: “We have 25 DAF’s now and our relationship with Stuart has been excellent.  We have had disappointing service from other companies for sales, but not from Stuart.  We maintain our own vehicles and have bought the trucks as chassis cabs as we build to our customer’s specific uses for the vehicle.

“I am delighted we have also taken ownership of a new Limited Edition Ford Ranger which will be used by our workshop manager for offsite breakdowns and seeking new work.  I have had a Ranger Wildtrack for some time and we have another which has seen good service and has gone back to Greenhous Ford to sell on.”

Kevin Jones, Commercial Vehicles Sales Executive for Greenhous Ford, is delighted to have supplied the new Ford Ranger. Kevin said: “The Ford Ranger is an excellent, robust workhorse and the Limited Edition has a high specification to maximise the driver’s comfort and driving experience.  It will be very suited to the demands MHF will make of it.”

Last year was the company’s 40th anniversary and, with 100 vehicles in the fleet and employing 20 staff, MHF has set its sights on the future with a significant investment in brand new workshops.
