Bathed in glorious sunshine the staff manned their pitches spread around the central area of the Showground. All of the brands occupied large plots to accommodate the wide range of vehicles each had on display. Renault/Dacia, Volvo, Vauxhall, Toyota, Nissan, VW Commercials and DAF all had plenty of shining vehicles for the public to look over. All reported a steady flow of people and good levels of registered interest, most of the brands also had hospitality units.
Of particular note was the Toyota stand where an Aygo was filled with balloons by the staff and in support of Greenhous Toyota’s adopted charity for 2016, the Harry Johnson Trust, the public paid a donation to the charity and made guesses as to the correct number to win a fabulous prize, which was an iPad Air. Apparently there were 108 when all were let down at the end of the show and counted.
