This year the Greenhous E Commerce team have linked with the Shrewsbury Ark as the local cause to be supported by the company. We have produced a music video called ‘Today is Going To Be A Good Day’. Local professional musician Paul Henshaw and his wife Nikki (Blacksmith Hill) have collaborated with us to produce a moving song which we have then set a screenplay to and filmed it on the streets of Shrewsbury town centre.
Watch the video at this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRBC7ZoM5hM
The song can be downloaded from iTunes and Amazon for a small price and proceeds from the sales will go to support the Ark. Greenhous have also made a donation and thanks to collections of clothing from the staff at the Shrewsbury dealerships, we have been able to offer extra clothing to the Ark shop.
We have appeared on BBC Radio Shropshire and the video is featured in today’s Shropshire Star to promote this good cause.
If you would like to know more about the Shrewsbury Ark then please visit their website : http://www.shrewsburyark.co.uk/about
We are very grateful to Paul and Nikki for writing and releasing the song and to Tim Compton, director of the Shrewsbury Ark and his staff.
Also, most importantly to Nigel and his dog Mercedes who feature in the video. A great bloke who just wants you to know he is just like you and me.
If you want to help the Ark to make people like Nigel’s life a little more bearable this Christmas, please share the video link (it is on our Facebook and Twitter too) and download the song.
Help to make today a good day! J
