Vehicle Review Competition

Are you a car fanatic? A budding writer? Or just someone who’s interested in sharing their motoring views? Then we’d like to hear from you!

If you drive a Vauxhall, Saab or Chevrolet and think you could sum up your thoughts into a great vehicle review, put your skills to the test and be in with a chance of winning a great prize.

We have a 1967 Ford Mustang Maisto remote control car or Free Spirit Mist Ladies mountain bike up for grabs, along with the chance to get the fame and glory that comes with having your review published on our website!

Why?

At Greenhous we frequently write vehicle reviews. These are designed to provide you with all the information you need to make an informed choice on your next vehicle. But we want to get your perspective on the cars you drive. After all, you’re the one’s that use these vehicles day in and day out. We’d love to know how your vehicle fits into your lifestyle. What do you think of its handling, performance and appearance? How do you rate its comfort levels? Is it easy to park and family friendly? Or do you simply love it, just because.

How to win

Just tell us, in your own words, what you think of your vehicle. Don't worry about the technicalities – unless you know them of course! Keep the review to fewer than 500 words and then send it to us by post at the address below. We’ll pick two winners whose reviews will feature on our website for everyone to read. The winners will have the chance of receiving a prize of either a Maisto 1:12 1967 Ford Mustang remote control car or Free Spirit Mist ladies mountain bike, which will be chosen at random.

*Full terms and conditions 1. The competition is open to all UK residents (including residents of the Channel Islands and the Isle Of Man) aged 18 years and over on the closing date. Only one entry per person must be submitted. 2. Entry to the competition is by completing the following tasks:
  • Entrants should submit a written review (in no more than 500 words) of a vehicle which they either currently or have previously owned.
  • The review must be limited to Vauxhall, Saab or Chevrolet models.
  • If entrants submit more than one entry we will judge the first entry received and disregard the others. The written review must be the entrant’s own original work, not defame, nor breach any copyright.
  • All submissions must include on the back in clear legible form: name, date of birth, address including postcode and telephone number of the entrant.
  • All entrants must enter the competition by post to: Greenhous Group ‘Review a car’ competition, Collina House, Holsworth Park, Oxon Business Park, Shrewsbury SY3 5HJ.
3. Entries must be submitted by no later than 17:00 on 31st July 2011. Postal entries which are post marked 31st July 2011 will be accepted. Late or illegible entries will be disqualified. Greenhous cannot take any responsibility for any technical failure or malfunction, including but not limited to any affecting postal services, which may result in any entry being lost or not properly registered or recorded. 4. By submitting an entry for the competition, entrant’s are deemed to have given consent for the entry to be published free of charge by Greenhous in all media, including television and internet, for all purposes as it wishes. Greenhous may wish to display entries in its showrooms and in a website gallery as they come in throughout the competition entry window. 5. All entries will be judged in the first instance by members of the Greenhous Management Team. This first judging panel will decide which entries should be put forward to the second stage judging. The second judging stage will look at the ten best entries and be carried out by a panel formed of the Greenhous Managing Director, Greenhous Sales Director & Greenhous e-commerce Developer. This panel will consider the ten best entries and choose two winners 6. The prize consist of - 1 x 1:12 scale 1967 Ford Mustang GT Remote Controlled Vehicle and 1 x Ladies Mountain bike. Only 1 prize is available to each winner. 7. The prizes will be as stated. The prizes cannot be transferred and there is no cash alternative. In the event of any of the winners being unable to be contacted, after reasonable attempts have been made, or if any is found to be in breach of the rules or fails to take up their prize for any reason, Greenhous reserves the right to offer the prize to a runner-up but it is not obliged to do so. 8. Greenhous’s and the judges’ decision as to the winners is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into. 9. The winners will be notified within 90 days of the close of the competition by either post /telephone/email, as per the contact details provided in their entry. 10. Entrants will be expected to take part in post-competition publicity for Greenhous. 11. Greenhous reserves the right to cancel the competition or any of these rules at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, or if circumstances arise outside of its control 12. Greenhous will only ever use personal details for the purposes of administering this competition, and will not publish them or provide them to anyone without permission. 13.
