    The challenge of climbing the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales within a 24 hour period attracts a lot of fund-raisers. On June 28th/29th Paul Herbert, Senior Management Accountant at Greenhous will don his walking boots alongside his wife Mary to climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon along with a host of others in an organised team event.

    Each year there is a ride out of thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts from Meole Brace in Shrewsbury to RAF Cosford in aid of the Bike4Life initiative which was raising funds for the Midlands Air Ambulance. This time the Shropshire, Staffordshire and Cheshire Blood Bikers were honoured to be invited by organisers, the Midland Free Wheelers, to lead off the massive procession of motorcycles.

Amy, who is from Shrewsbury and attended the Wakeman School, qualified at the Shrewsbury College of Arts and Technology as a Hair and Beauty specialist, something which she returns to in her spare time. After leaving college she spent a period working in clothes and jewellery retail outlets before taking up a position as a service advisor at a garage in Wem.

    It was a family affair as Tyler Gamble and his parents and brother took to the park at Telford to take part in the Colour Run in aid of the Severn Hospice. The fabulous, family-friendly Colour Run is Shropshire’s most colourful 5km and hundreds turned out at Telford Town Park on Sunday 10th June 2018 to get plastered with many colours.

    Popping in to Greenhous Vauxhall in Shrewsbury was Kelda Wood to collect her Vauxhall Astra estate from sales manager, Andy Evans. Kelda will be using the Astra to tow a trailer on which rests her Trans-Atlantic rowing boat, Storm Petrel. She will row across the Atlantic in December, single-handed, in her Row to Raise challenge in support of the local charity, Climbing Out.

    Jon Stagg works for Greenhous as the Franchise Project Manager, heading the software development team based at High Ercall in Shropshire. He is also an avid motorcyclist and has four bikes of his own, a 1997 Honda PanEuropean 1100, a 1995 BMW Funduro 650 and a 1984 Honda CBX 550. His favoured mode of transport for this marathon road trip through northern Europe in June this year will be his 2015 Triumph Tiger 800 XCX.
