The annual Greenhous staff golf day took place at Hawkstone Park Golf Course on Saturday, 7th July. It was an early tee off time for the golfers as the TV in the clubhouse was booked for 3pm to show England’s success in the World Cup Quarter-Final against Sweden.

There were many awards falling into several categories:

The Ladies Academy Competition was won by Trudi Sadler (Greenhous Vauxhall, Telford), runner-up was Angela Preston (Greenhous Vauxhall, Telford) with third place shared by Helen Thomas (Greenhous Vauxhall, Telford) and Nahara Hanson (Greenhous HR)

The Individual Competition winner was Andy Harley (Greenhous Commercials, Shrewsbury, with Mark Burrows (Greenhous Body Centre, Shrewsbury) second and in third place was Paul Mannion (Smart Fleet Solutions, Livingston)

In the team event the winners were Andy Harley, Mark Burrows, Nigel Ridler and Paul Mannion. Runners-up were Graham Ward, Peter Van Schepdael, Chris Crowther and Rob Emberton. Third place was secured by Shaun Cornes, Darren Green and Paul Serplus.

The Longest Drive was by Gareth Williams with the Nearest to the Pin awarded to Petr Van Schepdael.
