Jake Martin started upon a career with automotive company, Greenhous by enlisting for an Accounting Apprenticeship through a partnership with the Shrewsbury Colleges Group. Jake joined the College in September 2013 when he was studying for his A Levels in Economics, Psychology and Maths.
In 2015 Jake was taken on Greenhous as an apprentice and undertook day release study in Accounting.He successfully achieved his Level 2 AAT qualification before progressing to his AAT Level 3.Greenhous were delighted to continue to support Jake in his studies alongside his everyday role in the Accounts Department.Jake also passed 16 exams to achieve his Level 4 Diploma in AAT to add to his already impressive academic success. Alongside this he also secured his Level 4 Diploma in Business Skills
At Greenhous Jake has employed the skills he has learnt in financial and management accounting and has become a confident and valued member of the team. He is highly regarded at Greenhous and this recognition has also been reflected in the recommendation by his teachers that he should be awarded the status of Apprentice Student of the Year by the Shrewsbury Colleges Group in a recent Celebration of Student Achievement Awards Ceremony, held at Shrewsbury Town Football Club.
Well done to Jake and Greenhous hope that he will continue with his studies and achieve Chartered status in the near future.
