Eye-catching look for Barry as he gets ready for the TT races.
With entry into this year’s main TT races in his sights, Barry Furber from Bishop’s Castle now has the equipment to match the attractive event as he has a Vauxhall Movano van from Greenhous Vauxhall and his two motorcycles kitted out with sponsors Greenhous and Moto-Design logos on them.

Barry is a master technician at Greenhous Vauxhall in Shrewsbury and his passion has always been racing motorcycles.  He has achieved a lot of success as an amateur and has now attracted the attention of the Moto-Design team from Craven Arms, and this has enabled him to progress an entry for the Isle of Man TT races this summer.

At present Barry is attending race meetings around the country and performing exceptionally well against high quality fields.  Racing his Moto-design Suzuki GSX-R 600 and  Suzuki SV650 supertwin bikes at Oulton Park he came away with two victories and at Mallory Park he achieved two second places.  It is all good preparation for the main event; a fortnight of practice and racing on the Isle of Man.

Barry’s confidence is rising and he has done well over the TT course in the Manx GP for the past couple of years, increasing his overall average speed to over 111mph on the 37 and three quarter mile circuit of the island.  He says: “Thanks go to Moto-Design as I know the bikes will be spot on and, with the use of a Vauxhall Movano from Greenhous, I can concentrate all my efforts on a good result at the TT. The bikes look great and are performing really well.

”We started the season with a successful day testing the TT bikes at Oulton Park. This was the first outing for the brand new Moto-Design supersport bike and after a few adjustments we were soon up to a good pace and we are now looking forward to its first lap on the island. Both bikes are ready to take on the mountain course and we now have a good setup ready for practice week at the end of May.”
