The nerves are a jangling, the expectation is increasing as England prepare for their titanic struggle against Croatia to secure a place in the 2018 World Cup final. In a fitting tribute to the England manager, dapper Andrew “Gareth” Burgess and fleet team members from the Greenhous Village at High Ercall put on their fluorescent waistcoats to support the England push for glory.

Mascot Georgie Purslow clasped the match ball as the team were about to go onto the car park to re-create that wonderful scene when England won the World Cup in 1966.  “Some people are on the pitch.  They think it’s all over”….well it will be on Sunday when England finally bring football home!
