Greenhous sponsorship of the West Mid Showground

Greenhous sponsorship of the West Mid Showground
With the recent news of local automotive company Greenhous taking on the sponsorship of the West Mid Showground in Shrewsbury, the signs are now well and truly evident as the new promotional signage for the showground has been installed.

The previous West Mid Showground logo has been incorporated into a refreshed design. The signage is bright and modern and reflects the forward thinking of Greenhous and the showground operators, the charity known as the Shropshire and West Midlands Agricultural Society.

A new website is being designed with the help of the Greenhous E-commerce team and a greater use of social media will characterise the marketing of future events. Greenhous are supporting the Society with business advice, guidance and support on a range of developments to improve both the infrastructure and management of events that are staged at the showground off Berwick Road in Shrewsbury.

The Greenhous West Mid Showground is the largest community venue in the county with over 50 acres of usable space. It hosts events of all types and sizes. The largest events attract thousands of supporters to the town each year enhancing the local economy. These include the Shropshire County Show in May, the Shrewsbury Folk Festival in September and last weekend’s bonfire and firework display.

Smaller more specific events are held throughout the April to November season including a bi-weekly car boot sale, dog shows, horse and pony events, circus and fun fairs, tractor pulling, car shows etc. The showground has the facilities for indoor and outdoor events with permanent and temporary hospitality and acres of car parking. There is even a facility for caravan and motor home visitors to the town.

The new sponsorship deal with Greenhous will help to raise the profile of the West Mid Showground and work to return it to the position of prominence it deserves in the county of Shropshire and the West Midlands as the place to visit for town and county community events.
