Laura gets up to her eyes in mud for charity.
With so many lives touched by the demon that is cancer, it is no wonder that so many people opt to set out on a challenge to take them out of their comfort zone and encourage family, friends and workmates to contribute to fund raising for a good cause.

Laura Shore, trainee sales executive at Greenhous Fleet Services in Stoke, decided to sign up for a Mud Run to raise much needed funds for Cancer Research UK.  By encouraging her friend and colleague Charis Alcock to partner her, they doubled their efforts to support the charity as well as spurring each other on to complete the course.

The venue was the Forrest Park in Stoke-On-Trent on Sunday 16th July for the “Pretty Muddy” for Cancer Research UK.  Laura says of the run: “It was a 5k run through fields and mud where you are confronted with different obstacles too. It was tough, but we had great fun and got totally covered in mud.  We wish to thank all those who sponsored us.  It is not too late to donate so please click Laura's Pretty Muddy Run  if you would like to add to our total.”
