Greenhous have a Toyota Proace demonstrator available to test before a decision is made to purchase. Jon Watson, business sales manager for Greenhous Fleet, said “We want to give the customer the chance to fully test the potential of the van before making a purchase by allowing them to take the Proace away with them for the day while they have their vehicle serviced. This means they can use the van in a realistic business environment to get a feel for whether the van is suitable for their individual needs.”
The Proace marks Toyotas return to the panel van market in the UK, replacing the long-standing Hiace that has previously dominated the market. The Proace was built in partnership with Citroen and Peugeot to produce a reliable and versatile commercial vehicle. There are three engine options - a 1.6-litre diesel with 90PS and 180Nm of torque or two versions of the excellent 2.0-litre diesel, one with 128PS and the more powerful with 163PS. The 1.6-litre engine has a five-speed manual while the 2.0-litre engines come with a six-speed gearbox. All engines are Euro V compliant.
Jon continued “The Proace is ideal for all business types and is versatile enough to adapt in any scenario. Greenhous are already renowned for working closely with local businesses on a small or large scale and we want our customers to know the range of commercial vehicles on offer is bigger than ever.”
Jon also believes that having a van specialist at each of the commercial sites ensures the customer receives expert advice before purchasing a vehicle or testing a demo. “It is extremely important that expert knowledge is on hand to advise the customer on which vehicle is best suited to them. “Greenhous have an incredibly strong presence in the area when it comes to commercial vehicles. With brands such as Nissan, Vauxhall and Volkswagen under the company umbrella, we have made sure that specialists are available at each branch to help the customer understand the models and choose the best van for their business.”
