Nissan and Renault shortlisted for Car of the Year 2015
The European Car of The Year 2015 awards are the result of the collaboration of seven European automobile publications and a jury of automobile journalists from across the European continent.

In February 2015 they will announce the overall winner of the contest at the Geneva Motor Show on the 2nd March 2015. The Car of the Year is an international award which aims to celebrate the most outstanding new car to go on sale in the previous 12 months according to the panel of international judges who give an independent judgement on all cars in the European car market.

Greenhous Nissan and Renault are excited that they each have a model in the short list of seven cars nominated for this prestigious award. The Nissan Qashqai and the Renault Twingo stand proudly among the shortlist which was drawn down from an initial field of thirty one candidates.

The seven publications belonging to different European countries are Auto (Italy), Autocar (UK), Autopista (Spain), Autovisie (Netherlands), L’automobile (France), Stern (Germany) and ViBilägare (Sweden). The competition started back in 1964 and the first winner was the Rover 2000.

The all electric Nissan Leaf was the winner in 2011.
