S. M. Davies Transport Ltd of Guilsfield, Powys had an FTR XF Super space cab, Tractor unit on display. The vehicle was very attractive in its green and red livery with gold piping. Next to the XF was a brand new DAF FA LF Day cab, tipper grab belonging to Hafod Construction, a civil engineering company from Oswestry. To complete the trio of DAF trucks, an FAN CF Space cab, curtain sider was handed over to owner James Chambers of Hazport, hazardous waste transport and disposal specialists from Whitchurch by Greenhous DAF sales executive, Colin Moore.
Greenhous DAF Operations Manager, John Turley was on hand to welcome customers and visitors to the DAF pitch. He says of the event: “It is always a popular show and we are always delighted to welcome new and long-standing customers to our stand. It is a good opportunity to network and talk about a wide range of subjects including changing legislation and technological advances that are being developed by DAF. I wish to thank all of my staff for their efforts in attending the Show over the two days. Being able to do a handover of the CF to Hazport was the icing on the cake. We are grateful to our customers for loaning us their new 66 plate trucks for the weekend.
