Nissan Introduce the All-New, All-Electric Nissan JUKE

At the Nissan Vision event in Japan, the brand unveiled the all-new, all-electric Nissan JUKE. This striking new electric crossover is part of Nissan’s strategy to broaden their electrified range, hoping to meet the needs of every modern driver. It even looks like they’ve been inspired by our famous Greenhous green when choosing the model’s striking new design personality, and we think it looks great.

Nissan’s JUKE model was first launched in 2010, a versatile small SUV that offers bold design and a surprisingly spacious interior. The new, third-generation electric Nissan JUKE has now been designed and engineered in the UK and will even be built here too. Introducing the manufacturing of this significant addition to the Nissan Sunderland Plant reinforces the central role of the site in Nissan’s electrification strategy. The brand is working to support the global transition to zero-emission mobility. Introducing an all-electric Nissan JUKE to the UK automotive manufacturing and retail market will help to support this transition, offering customers even more models to choose from.

The UK’s EV market is continuing to grow, especially considering increased running costs of petrol and diesel powertrains in the recent months. In response to this growing concern, Nissan are working to offer an electrified powertrain for every customer type across their retail range. The electric Nissan JUKE joins the already established EV line-up from Nissan, which includes the all-new Nissan MICRA and all-new Nissan LEAF, the Nissan ARIYA crossover and the Nissan Townstar LCV. The first-ever electric Nissan JUKE remains agile and compact like its predecessor, but its exterior has been reimagined to reflect its status as a new stand-out EV. Underneath the stylish modern exterior, the Nissan CMF-EV platform provides the power, the same technology used in the newest Nissan LEAF. Like the All-New Nissan LEAF, the electric Nissan JUKE will offer Vehicle-to-Grid technology. This feature enables electric vehicles to feed energy stored in their batteries back to the electricity grid, effectively acting as a large-scale mobile power back. The introduction of this capacity to the electric Nissan JUKE and All- New Nissan LEAF supports the integration of electric vehicles into the wider electric energy eco-system.

For those not ready to go fully electric yet, Nissan continue to offer their e-POWER hybrid technology that delivers an electrified driving experience, without the need to plug-in and charge. If you’re looking for a hybrid model, discover the Nissan Qashqai e-POWER and the current Nissan JUKE HEV and find the perfect electrified technology to suit your individual driving style.

The All-New Nissan JUKE will be launched to market in spring 2027. In the meantime, to find out more about the current electrified range from Nissan, visit Greenhous Nissan in Shrewsbury today. Or give one of our friendly sales team a call on 01743 454020.
