Greenhous BYD Telford Sponsor ‘Dave the Tree’ With CrossFit Telford

Greenhous BYD Telford has worked with local gym, CrossFit Telford, to formally recognise a tree outside the dealership as ‘Dave the Tree’.

After being contacted by members of the CrossFit Telford community, Greenhous BYD Telford are pleased to continue their activities in support of the local area and community.

Dave the Tree is known to CrossFit Telford members as a key landmark in the gym’s exercises. Members Varaidzo and Mazvita Kandi, and gym owners Jason and Kirsty Hanlon, acknowledged the importance of Dave the Tree more widely in the Telford gym’s culture. It has become a symbol of motivation, encouragement and humour for gymgoers told to “run to Dave and back”, often marking key personal milestones and achievements for attendees. The tree sits outside the newly renovated BYD dealership, 400 metres away from the gym’s location, naturally becoming a significant reference point during runs and fitness challenges. With the BYD slogan of ‘Build Your Dreams’, and the CrossFit Telford community representing a place where you can achieve your fitness dreams, this recognition is a natural partnership between two businesses with shared ambitions.

The opening of BYD Telford’s state-of-the-art dealership is part of Greenhous Group’s ongoing growth plan and effort to increase and improve accessibility to electrified driving in the area. It also marks Greenhous’ continued investment and contributions in the region, working to support local businesses and communities.  

Greenhous BYD Telford is now open, helping Telford and the surrounding area to access the latest electric driving technology and make the switch to low or emission-free driving as easy as possible.
