Unlike the SHS-H system, the SHS-P does require plugging in to charge the 34.4 kW capacity battery. However, if you forget to charge your battery, the SHS-P system is still capable of self-charging, so the battery will never fully deplete. You can achieve up to 93 miles of electric only driving when fully charged, helping you to power shorter commutes or errands on electric only energy.
