Greenhous Nissan in Shrewsbury is seeking a driven and commercially minded Local Business Development Manager to expand our presence within the local business community.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to build strong relationships, identify new opportunities, and drive fleet and business vehicle sales.

Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage relationships with local businesses and corporate clients.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Promote Nissan’s business and fleet vehicle range to prospective clients.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to delivery.
  • Attend networking events and represent the dealership within the local community.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline.
  • Work closely with the dealership team to achieve sales targets and objectives.

Ideally, we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in business development, B2B sales, or automotive sales.
  • Knowledge of fleet sales or the automotive industry is essential.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Full UK driving licence required.
