Greenhous Shrewsbury is expanding its Aftersales team and we’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused Service/Parts Advisor to support our Vauxhall, Omoda, Jaecoo and Chery brands.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing multi-franchise dealership, delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring our workshop runs smoothly and efficiently.

Salary: £28,571 per annum plus bonus

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 6.00 pm, i.e. 45 hours per week, 1 hour for lunch (unpaid).

Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Front of House

  • Greet customers in a professional, friendly manner and act as the main point of contact throughout their service or repair.
  • Book in vehicles for service, repair, and MOT using internal systems.
  • Provide clear explanations of work required, costs, and timescales.
  • Keep customers updated on progress and communicate any additional work required.
  • Handle customer queries and complaints promptly and effectively.

Workshop & Job Management

  • Prepare accurate job cards and ensure technicians have all required information.
  • Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion to meet customer expectations.
  • Liaise with the workshop team to schedule workload efficiently.
  • Check completed work, raising any issues with the Service Manager.

Parts Management

  • Identify, source, and supply parts for retail customers, workshop technicians, and trade clients.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and process parts orders and returns.
  • Upsell additional products, accessories, and service plans where appropriate.
  • Manage parts invoices, warranty claims, and associated paperwork.

Administration

  • Process payments, invoices, warranty documentation, and service records.
  • Maintain accurate customer and vehicle data on the DMS system.
  • Follow brand and dealership compliance standards at all times.

Ideally, we are looking for:

  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Parts Advisor, or Aftersales role within the motor trade (preferred).
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a busy workload.
  • Confident IT user with experience of dealership management systems (e.g., Kerridge, Pinewood, CDK).
  • Able to work collaboratively within a multi-brand dealership environment.
  • Full UK driving licence (Desirable).
