Greenhous Group raises over £7,500 for Friends of Severndale

Greenhous Group has donated a cheque for over £7,500 to local charity, Friends of Severndale, after hosting a second successful charity golf day at Hawkstone Park, Shrewsbury. Friends of Severndale is a dedicated Shrewsbury charity that supports Severndale Specialist Academy, helping to enhance learning experiences and wellbeing for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The charity is run by a team of passionate volunteers who raise vital funds to provide additional resources, equipment, and opportunities beyond standard education.

The event featured a charity raffle and an exciting hole-in-one competition, where golfers had the incredible opportunity to win a Porsche Cayman. This event follows on from the success of last year’s charity golf day, which raised over £5,000 for the charity in 2024.

Ashley Passant, Managing Director Car & Van Operations, commented, “We are delighted to be presenting this cheque to Friends of Severndale, and proud to see this money go towards such an important cause.”

Passant continued, “We would like to extend our gratitude to everyone who came to make this such a successful day. The money raised will be vital for providing additional support and extra-curricular activities to children and young people with special educational needs.”
