C5 X Plug-in Hybrid combines a 180hp Petrol engine with an EAT8 automatic gearbox and an 80kW (110hp) electric motor, for combined power or 225hp. Delivering torque of 360Nm, enjoy non-stop driving comfort through guaranteed accelerating power.

Easy to Charge

Charging your C5 X Plug-in Hybrid is simple and practical. Using the 7kW onboard charger, you can fully charge in just 2 hours.

Using the driving mode selector on the central console you can choose between 3 modes:

  • Electric: The car operates in 100% electric mode, providing an exceptionally smooth drive. Up to 36 mile range (EAER WLTP Combined).
  • Hybrid: The car manages the electric motor and petrol engine automatically for optimum efficiency.
  • Sport: Performance is optimised by the electric motor, which boosts the petrol engine for combined power of 225hp and combined torque of 360 Nm.

C5 X Plug-in Hybrid is extremely simple to charge. The charging flap, located on the rear left of the car, includes an LED indicator to track the charging process, which can also be viewed remotely on the MyCitroen app. Charging can also be programmed from the touchscreen or the MyCitroen app, to take advantage of off-peak rates. The charging cables are stored in a dedicated space under the boot floor.
